Bolton Wanderers School of Football is delivering two weeks of their Summer Soccer Schools programme at Daisy Hill Football Club.
The scheme has been set up by School of Football Manager Steve Obertelli, who is a member of the first team squad at New Sirs as well as being involved with Daisy Hill's Under 18's team that play in the North West Youth Alliance.
Steve said: "It is brilliant to be able to create a link with a local grass roots club and we will all benefit from this link up and it offers something to the area as well, as people can come along and take part in the Summer Programme".
Anyone interested in finding out more about the courses can visit http://www.bwct.org.uk/events or call 01204 480601 for information about the courses, age groups, dates and other venues.
Daisy Hill First Team Manager Craig Thomas said: "To have top coaches from a local Premier League football club delivering high quality Football Courses at Daisy Hill is great for the club and the children in the local area.
"Hopefully the children coached on these courses will be the future players for Daisy Hill first team or even for Bolton Wanderers FC."
In addition to the courses at New Sirs, Bolton Wanderers School of Football will be using Canon Slade Secondary School in Bolton as its main location for the delivery of Holiday Football Courses over the summer and throughout the next school year.
Steve Obertelli said: "It is great to get the use of such fantastic facilities in the community of Bolton.
"When launching the School of Football I was extremely eager to get a venue that is close to the town centre, therefore making the courses accessible to people across the borough."
As part of the agreement with Canon Slade Secondary School, Bolton Wanderers School of Football will be holding coaching sessions for pupils at the school and also delivering coach education to help get more young coaches into the local grassroots game.
FA Junior Football Organisers Courses will be held in curriculum time, alongside other sports offered by the school to its Year 10 and 11 pupils.
Once qualified, these pupils will spend their PE lessons delivering football coaching sessions in local Primary Schools alongside School of Football Coaches.
