Winsford United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Lee Jones.
Lee has decided to join the Blues after considering approaches from several other clubs including some from higher up the Non-League Pyramid.
Newly-appointed manager Chris Willcock said, "Lee has all the attributes I am looking for in a player. He is quick, aggressive and has great leadership skills. He is very good technically but most of all he has a winning mentality. He is going to be a great asset to Winsford United.
"I am sure he will have a major input into achieving success for the club this season. Lee is a player I have admired for many years and have tried to sign previously, so the fact that he has joined us this season means I am really looking forward to working with him over the next few months."
The club is also pleased to announce the appointment of our new Physio, Danny Fishwick.
Manchester-based Danny has joined the Management team as Head Physio taking over from Steve Foden. He is a very ambitious young man and has all the attributes, qualifications and skills that will only enhance the management team.
The whole club welcomes Danny to the fold, and Chris had the following to say: "I look forward to working with Danny over the new season. He is an experienced Physio, and will look after the players to a very professional standard.
"Danny will work alongside Steve Foden who after many years in the front line is going to take a step back and let Danny take the lead. Steve will still be seen at many matches standing in the dugouts.
"I look forward to developing a rapport with both Physios over the coming months".
